A sold out girls youth basketball event: Heat Check 2025

The 2025 Heat Check kicked off this weekend in a new summer season of the Hype Her Hoops experience. This year’s signature event was sold out, setting a new standard for fans and families of the Orange County girls youth basketball community. Heat Check was hosted at premier facilities, including Open Gym Premier’s Ladera Ranch sports facility and Oceanview High School.

Hype Her Hoops continues to elevate and give a platform to the top girls basketball players in Southern California and beyond. This weekend was no exception, with top player Kaleena “Special K” Smith dominating the courts with a crowd gathering to see her 7 Days 3SSB team.
